SOLON – Class 2A second-ranked Mount Vernon was too much for Solon on Tuesday.

Mount Vernon swept Solon 25-18, 25-19, 25-14 in a WAMAC East division matchup on Tuesday at Solon.

Grace Keith had 10 kills for Solon which dropped to 4-7 on the season.

Rachel Nelson had 11 assists and Grace McCarty collected 14 digs for the Spartans.

Raysa Garbes had two ace serves for Solon.
